Advice Associate/ Professional Year

Australia-based

Full-time and Remote (Or Greensborough, Victoria if you would like an office space)

Responsibilities include:

Initial client engagement to determine if they are a good fit for the business

  • Work with the support team for the initial research and prepare clients' insurance proposals (Statement of advice).

  • Client communication including phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.

  • Work with the support team on the implementation of insurance applications and updating insurers or clients as to the state of an application.

  • Manage ongoing client communication and questions.

What Qualifications do you require? 

FASEA Approved & on the adviser register OR requisite qualifications and experience to begin your professional year

This position is for a qualified financial adviser, however, if you are ready to start or in the process of your professional year, please apply. 

We also expect you to have: 

  • Great email management skills

  • Experience using financial planning quote comparison tools

  • High level of expertise in using insurance quoting software

  • Experience lodging insurance application

  • Detailed understanding of the insurance underwriting process and likely outcomes

  • Detailed understanding of the different insurance products on the market
