Associate Financial Adviser

Australia-based | Full-time and Remote (Or Greensborough, Victoria if you would like an office space)

We are seeking a for a Associate Financial Adviser to engage with clients and assess their suitability for our services. In this role, you will collaborate with the support team to prepare insurance proposals (Statements of Advice) and assist with the processing of insurance applications. You'll maintain regular communication with clients through phone, email, and virtual meetings, keeping them informed and addressing any questions throughout the process.

What you’ll do:

  • Support Financial Advisers 

  • Initial client engagement to determine if they are a good fit for the business

  • Work with the support team for the initial research and prepare clients' insurance proposals (Statement of advice).

  • Client communication including phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.

  • Work with the support team on the implementation of insurance applications and updating insurers or clients as to the state of an application.

  • Manage ongoing client communication and questions.

What you’ll bring to the table:

Currently studying OR requisite qualifications and experience 

A relatively new adviser wanting to join a growing, high-performing, & highly skilled insurance specialist firm that will provide plenty of support as you grow in your career as and adviser.

We also expect you to have: 

  • Great email management skills

  • Experience using financial planning quote comparison tools

  • High level of expertise in using insurance quoting software

  • Experience lodging insurance application

  • Detailed understanding of the insurance underwriting process and likely outcomes

  • Detailed understanding of the different insurance products on the market
