Financial Adviser - Risk Insurance Specialist

Australia-based

Full-time and Remote (Or Greensborough, Victoria if you would like an office space)

Responsibilities include:

Initial client engagement to determine if they are a good fit for the business

  • Work with the support team for the initial research and prepare clients' insurance proposals (Statement of advice).

  • Client communication including phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.

  • Work with the support team on the implementation of insurance applications and updating insurers or clients as to the state of an application.

  • Manage ongoing client communication and questions. 

  • Once a month attending junior adviser meetings - This will give you a chance to provide feedback and coach newer advisers. 

  • You will be working predominantly with all new to insurance clients who have been referred into the business and the biggest benefit is that there is no requirement to be prospecting for your own clients!

What Qualifications do you require? 

FASEA Approved and on the adviser register. 

Ideally have a minimum of 3 years experience as a financial planner, specialising in insurance advice, however, newer advisers are encouraged to apply as we may have other positions available. On top of this the below is expected: 

  • Great email management skills

  • Experience using financial planning quote comparison tools

  • High level of expertise in using insurance quoting software

  • Experience lodging insurance application

  • Detailed understanding of the insurance underwriting process and likely outcomes.
